Children will get hands-on experience in checking their own health.

There’ll be free blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings, and dental, chiropractic and nutritional consultations. Expert information on cancer, diabetes, detoxification, cardiovascular and sickle cell diseases will be available.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in UB’s Health Sciences Center, 60 Lafayette St., Bridgeport. Lunch is available at noon at a cost of $5. The College of Naturopathic Medicine is sponsor.
