Preparation for the holidays gets attention at Thursday’s (Nov. 1) Women’s Forum at the University of Bridgeport.

The topic of the noontime event is “Making Flowers to Accent Your Holiday Home.”

Nora Spurgin and Kathleen Burton, members of the forum, will be the presenters. They will demonstrate and create decorations using real and artificial flowers.

The program will be held in the private dining room of the John J. Cox Student Center, at Myrtle and University avenues. It is a bring-your-own-lunch event, open to the public.
