Students and faculty in the University of Bridgeport’s counseling program are opening a hotline for those who are suffering emotional upset or trauma owing to the Sept. 11 terrorists attacks.

The UB Hotline will be open this week on Friday, Saturday and on Sunday, from 1 to 6 p.m. The hotline numbers are (203) 576-4172 and (203) 576-4358.

It is being staffed by the students and faculty in the Counseling and Human Relations program.

They are doing it in response to the needs set off by this far-reaching
tragedy.
