Gordon. Ms. Gordon was twice honored as Most Distinguished Alumna by the University. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UB and had retired as the director of student services. After serving in that position, she had returned to work as assistant director of graduate services at the UB Stamford campus. Employee News President Emeritus Dr. Richard L. Rubenstein has recently been honored with a professorship in religious studies in his name at Florida State University, where he taught for many years. Dr. Rubenstein was also honored by being the invited speaker for the May ordination at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles, California. Associate Professor Cynthia Howard, director of the Fones School of Dental Hygiene and associate professor Meg Zayan, have both been appointed as consultants to the American Dental Association on Dental Accreditation.
