Keith brings nearly ten years of experience working within career development in higher education to his role as director. His primary focuses include increasing student utilization, developing professional opportunities, and promoting collaboration and support between academic areas and the Center for Career Development. Keith is well-versed in career coaching and counseling, assisting students with major exploration, résumé/cover letter construction, mock interviews, and LinkedIn networking. He is also deeply involved with the City of Bridgeport community; he is the Founding Chair of THRIVE (Bridgeport Regionals Young Professional Group), Board Member of the Leadership Greater Bridgeport, and an Executive Member of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.

Rachael Cuttitta

Rachael focuses on developing each student’s extracurricular, co-curricular, and academic experiences in order to build competencies which match those laid out by NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers). Rachael also runs the Student Leadership Institute, which offers programs to students seeking to build their personal leadership skills. She also formally established the Athlete Success Program, which provides career exploration and career transition assistance to student athletes.

Lori is in charge of the hiring process for 600 + hourly student worker positions and 180 + Graduate Assistant positions at UB. Prior to joining UB Lori was an Admissions/Financial Aid Coordinator at Long Island University; a Project Manager in Telecommunications and held various positions in the field of Advertising working in print and broadcast.

Freddie Velazquez

Freddie creates opportunities for UB students by building professional, long lasting relationships with employers. He is well-versed in developing professional relationships and networking, recruiting/interviewing/job placement, resume/cover letter construction, as well as career coaching/development. Freddie is also a member of the Human Capital Council of Fairfield, Internship Round Table, and the Southwest CT Manufacturing Consortium. Freddie spent three years working in the staffing industry and six years with Enterprise Rent-a-Car prior to joining UB.
