Housing and Meal Plans

On-Campus Residency Requirement

All students who are full-time undergraduates are required to live in University residence halls unless they meet one or more of the following criteria:

1. Those who have attained the age of 21 by the first day of classes.
2. Those who have accumulated 90 academic credits (including transfer credits) by the first day of classes.
3. Those who are living at home with parents, a spouse or other immediate relatives within a 50 mile driving distance of the University.

Exceptions to this policy must be requested from the Office of Residential Life and Student Conduct in writing and must be approved by the Director of Residential Life and Student Conduct by the first day of classes.

Meal Plan Information

Students may select one of four meal plans depending on their personal dining preferences:

MP19 – includes 19 meals per week at Marina Dining Hall and $75 in dining dollars per semester (ELI students receive $37.50 in dining dollars)

MP17 – includes 17 meals per week at Marina Dining Hall and $125 in dining dollars per semester (ELI students receive $62.50 in dining dollars)

MP12 – includes 12 per week at Marina Dining Hall and $200 in dining dollars per semester
(ELI students receive $100 in dining dollars)

MP8 – includes 8 per week at Marina Dining Hall and $400 in dining dollars per semester
(ELI students receive $200 in dining dollars)

Meals at Marina Dining Hall are served three times daily, with the exception of Saturday and Sunday when two meals are served. Marina Dining Hall is closed during vacation periods as scheduled in the University calendar. Kosher meals are available through the Dining Hall upon request. Dining Dollars may be used to purchase food items at the hUB (Marina Dining Hall) and at the Scribe Cafe (Wahlstrom Library, 1st floor).
