Association for International Practical Training – AIPT (the Association for International Practical Training) provides educational and professional exchange experiences that enhance cultural awareness, develop global competencies, mutual understanding, and international cooperation.
U.S. Department of Labor • Foreign Labor H-1B Program Data – This site lists companies that have gone through the H1-B visa process for the past six years or so. You can search online or download the Access file. Although the site is not the most user-friendly, it seems to be the most comprehensive. If you download the Access file, you can sort by location (city and state), employer name, type of position hired through the H1-B visa, prevailing wages, etc..
U.S. Department of Labor • Foreign Labor Certification Disclosure Data – Searchable database of American employers who have applied to hire workers with H1-B visas.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services – An agency of the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services is responsible for the administration of immigration and naturalization adjudication functions and establishing immigration services policies and priorities. This site provides information on Naturalization, Services & Benefits, Immigration Forms, Laws & Regulations, Education & Resources as well as News items.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services • H-1B: Specialty Occupation Workers Statistical Reports – In response to requests for background information on the characteristics of Specialty Occupation Workers (H-1B) and the top 100 employers using them, the reports are published in PDF format (requires Adobe Reader to view and print).
