Professional Organizations

Many industries and specializations have professional organizations that provide certifications, research, job opportunities, and conferences to expand your network and keep current in your chosen industry. Participating in a professional organization provides numerous benefits and some may have student membership prices to join.

Joining a professional organization will allow you to research information about a specific industry or major which can help you figure out the types of positions available. Researching a specific industry can also give you ideas on how to prepare to work in your chosen field.

A full list can be found by clicking on the job search by major link to the left.
