The Department of Technology Management (TM) in the School of Engineering at the University of Bridgeport invites applications for a full time tenure-track position at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor level.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Technology Management or a related field. Industry experience is desired. A strong interest in teaching graduate courses and an excellent scholarship record are required in addition to a solid funded research and grant writing record. Courses will be taught in the Department of Technology Management and as inter-disciplinary courses in other engineering or business departments.
The School of Engineering at the University of Bridgeport is a rapidly growing school with PhD, MS and undergraduate programs in a number of exciting and industry relevant engineering and technology management fields. The School of Engineering has quadrupled its sponsored research funding over the last three years.
We offer an exciting and innovative MS-TM degree with multiple concentrations in addition to a prestigious PhD degree in Technology Management.
Preference will be given to applicants who can teach quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, technology management core and advanced topics (such as project management, information technology, analytics, engineering economics, technology marketing, technology new venture creation and other related courses).
There are opportunities to participate in day and evening graduate and distance learning initiatives. Applications are being accepted for the spring 2017 /fall 17 semesters.
