The School of Engineering at the University of Bridgeport is seeking qualified adjunct professors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the following areas:

Department of Mechanical Engineering:
Teach in the area of Solid Mechanics, Vibration, Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Thermal Management of Electronics, Advanced Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Heat Transfer, and Fluid Dynamics.

Requirements:
BS and an advanced degree in the Mechanical Engineering. . Prior teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable.

Department of Electrical Engineering:
Teach Power, Energy, VLSI, Signal Processing, Communications, Electronics, Biomedical, Automation and Controls.

Requirements:
To teach an undergraduate course, a master’s degree in a related area. For graduate level courses, a doctoral degree in a related area. Classes are 2 hour 30 min long and can be held during the day, or the evenings (6-8:30 pm). Prior teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable.

Department of Technology Management:
On-line instructors to teach Business/Technology Strategy Capstone, Project Management, Advanced Project Management, Leadership, Technical Writing and Communications in Technology & Engineering, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, New Product Management, Engineering Economics and Strategic Sourcing and Outsourcing.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a Master’s degree; a Ph.D. degree is desirable or equivalent in Engineering, Technology Management (or Engineering Management or Management of Technology) or a
related field and industry experience is desired. Prior teaching experience at the university level using on-line modalities is highly desirable.

Department of Computer Science:
Programming Languages, Networking, Web Development, Mobile Applications.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a Master’s degree; a Ph.D. degree is desirable or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field and industry experience. Prior teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable.

Department of Biomedical Engineering general areas of oncology science and engineering; stem cell derived cells and tissue engineering, real time imaging, assay development, and related bioengineering areas.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a Master’s degree; a Ph.D. degree is desirable or equivalent in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences or a closely related field and industry experience. Prior teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable.
