The University of Bridgeport has a very active co-op program and International College students have many opportunities for Internships while study at UB. International College students have had internships at the United Nations, at permanent missions connected to the United Nations, and at UN-related non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Located only approximately only forty minutes from Stamford (where UB has a branch campus) and one hour and fifteen minutes from New York City, UB students have had internships at Arthur Anderson, Price Waterhouse, Swiss Bank, GE Capital, and in other major American and international corporations.

The connections that the university has already established with prestigious organizations and business/political leaders puts it a step ahead of many other universities. This is an asset afforded to the college because of its relationship with the New England Center for International and Regional Studies.

The International College in collaboration with the New England Center has established ties with well known organizations and multinational corporations and in so doing developed internship opportunities for the International College students at the University of Bridgeport.

Please contact the International College at 203-576-4966, if you are interested in pursuing an internship opportunity.
