Philosophy of World Religions is a course being taught by a new visiting professor, Professor Mark Setton.
Here is a look into a IPED freshman, Moondo Field's personal reflection on the course:
I found Professor Setton's Philosophy of World Religions
course to be very provocative and interactive. The course can
give a broader perspective of various crucial issues that are
inseparable and deeply related to religion through the group discussions
and Eastern Religion insights the professor provides.
Although this course won't give you an answer to "Who/What is God?",
"Can you prove the existence of God?", "Is evil part of human
nature?",
etc., it will definitely get you closer to understanding whatever the
answer really is. Maybe we will never reach the true answer to these
questions, but professor Setton's course will take you closer to
what the answer really is.
