UB’s Greatest Asset

As an employee of the University of Bridgeport, you play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the institution. The University depends on members of the faculty and staff to help our students achieve success. Some members of the campus community go above and beyond to support UB with an annual gift.

When members of the University community make the decision to support UB with an annual contribution, it shows a commitment to the mission of the institution. A high percentage of faculty and staff supporting the University demonstrates to corporations and foundations that those closest to UB are invested in its success. This vote of confidence allows UB to apply for competitive grants that enhance programs and offer more to our students. When a high number of faculty and staff financially support the University, with a gift of any size, it is a clear statement of their commitment to UB, the students, and their colleagues.

The simplest way for employees to support the University is through a payroll deduction. Employees may choose to make a one-time gift or an ongoing contribution that is renewed annually with this option. The form can be accessed by logging into the MyUB portal and accessing the Form Library; the document is listed under University Relations. Gifts can also be made by check, credit card, or cash and remitted to the Office of Annual Giving in Cortright Hall.

If you have questions about your gift or how else you can support UB, such as a planned gift, please contact Robert Cottle, Vice President for University Relations at 203-576-4696 or rcottle@bridgeport.edu .
