Parents play an important role in their child’s education. Each and every day our students are doing amazing things, and as a parent you should be proud. At the University of Bridgeport, we hope that parents will be engaged with the campus community. We welcome you to visit campus, attend Parent Weekend, read news from campus on our website, in the parent newsletter, The Campus Link, and in Knightlines. Another way parents can be engaged is by showing their support for all the students at UB is with a gift to our annual fund.
The annual fund at UB creates opportunity for students. The money is used where it is most needed - which could mean hiring top-rate faculty, improving the menu in Marina, or increasing scholarship funds. A gift of any size is a way to show your appreciation for the experience your child is having at UB. We on campus recognize that tuition alone can be a sacrifice, but keep in mind that UB’s tuition is one of the lowest in the region and UB was recently named one of the top universities nationwide for return on investment. This means that chances are your student will find a job soon after graduation or be accepted into a graduate program to further enhance their skills in their chosen field.
If you currently aren’t receiving news from campus, please update your contact information here. This is also where you can update your mailing preferences with the University. We hope that you’ll feel as much as part of the UB community as your student, and we welcome your participation at events and look forward to seeing you on campus soon.
