BlackBoard Workshops
During the BlackBoard workshops you will delve into topics about using Blackboard in your classroom.
SMARTboard Certification Workshop
During this workshop participants will learn more about the Notebook software and how to apply it to your teaching.
PowerPoint Workshop
Workshop attendees will use their own teaching notes to create a PowerPoint slide show to use during the semester and will become familiar with the characteristics of an effective PowerPoint presentation.
Excel Workshop
This workshop will introduce participants to Excel and will include a demonstration of how use formulas to easily calculate course grades.
UB Alert Workshop
This workshop offers information on how to use the UB Alert system (on WebAdvisor).
Book Group Discussions
Each year a selected book on teaching best practices will be read and shared in small groups to look at strategies and research for learning and teaching.
