Undergraduate Programs
Undergraduate
programs at the University of Bridgeport are housed in schools and
colleges across the University. These programs range from Mass
Communication and Social Sciences (with a Criminal Justice minor),
Dental Hygiene and Interior Design, Music and International Political
Economy and Diplomacy, to Accounting, Computer Science, Graphic Design,
Fashion Merchandising, Psychology, Biology, and Human
Services—and more. Taught by award-winning instructors, these
programs prepare students for successful careers. The programs build on
a Core Curriculum that bring students from all majors into shared
conversations about the major cultural, intellectual, scientific, and
artistic forces that shape our world.
Graduate & Professional Programs
Graduate
and professional programs at the University of Bridgeport are housed
primarily in the Schools of Business, Engineering, and Education and
Human Resources. The International College offers a master’s
degree in Global Development and Peace. Programs include Biomedical
Engineering, Computer Science and Computer Engineering, Electrical and
Mechanical Engineering, an internationally focused MBA program,
master’s degree programs in Education and
Counseling—and more. Taught by professionally accomplished,
research oriented instructors, these programs prepare students to
assume leadership positions in meaningful careers.
Accelerated Degree Completion (IDEAL) Programs
Many people, for one reason or another, began but did not complete an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree. The IDEAL (Innovative Degree Excellence in Accelerated Learning) Program allows you to finish your undergraduate degree and build upon what you have accomplished in your life. Everything about the IDEAL Program is geared to the way adults live and learn.
