- What is Panopto?
Panopto offers educators the most cost-effective, easy-to-use solution for flipping the classroom, lecture capture, video management, and more. Faculty, staff, and students can easily record and share video using Panopto. NOTE: Currently Panopto is only available to faculty teaching online courses. To request access to Pantopo in your Canvas course, contact the GLI office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 203-576-2362.

- What is VoiceThread?
VoiceThread is an interactive collaboration and sharing tool that enables teachers & students to add images, documents, and videos, and to which other users can add voice, text, audio file, or video comments. It is enabled in all Canvas courses, and can easily be set up by faculty.

Need Respondus help or training?
- What is Respondus?
Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Canvas, so students are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. When an assessment is started, students are locked into it until they submit it for grading. Respondus Monitor is a companion product for LockDown Browser that enables institutions to protect the integrity of non-proctored, online exams. Students use their own computer and a webcam to record assessment sessions, all without leaving the institution’s learning management system.
