Chiropractic, D.C. Admissions Information And Checklist

Admission Requirements
 
Program Prerequisites (to be completed prior to matriculation)

  • Bachelor ‘s degree earned or a minimum of 90 credits (with 30 upper division and 48 of prerequisites)
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Coursework, with a C or better
    • Biology with labs - 6 semester hours
    • General Chemistry with labs - 6 semester hours
    • Organic Chemistry with labs - 6 semester hours
    • Physics with labs - 6 semester hours
    • English Composition or Communication - 6 semester hours
    • Psychology - 3 semester hours
    • Social Sciences or Humanities - 15 semester hours

Required Materials

  • Application
  • Application Fee (non-refundable)
  • Official transcripts from every school attended
  • Three recommendation letters
    • Letters must be signed and come from employers, professors or professional associates (one must come from a health care provider)
  • Personal statement
  • In 250 – 500 words, detail why you are seeking this degree, how you expect to apply your degree to your professional career after graduation and why you seek to pursue your degree through the University of Bridgeport

Deadlines

Completed application and all supporting documents must be received by:

  • Rolling Admissions
  • August 1 for the Fall semester
  • December 1 for the spring semester
