Acupuncture, M.S. Admissions Information And Checklist

Admission Requirements
 
Program Prerequisites (to be completed prior to matriculation)

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (120 completed semester hours) from an accredited institution or recognized international institution
  • Required cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher in the science prerequisites
  • Coursework
    • Biology with labs - 6 semester hours
    • Chemistry with labs - 6 semester hours
    • English - 6 semester hours
    • Psychology - 3 semester hours
    • Social Science  3 semester hours

Required Materials

  • Application
  • Application fee (non-refundable)
  • Official transcripts from every school attended
  • Two recommendation letters
    • Letters must be signed and come from employers, professors or professional associates
  • Personal statement
  • In 250 – 500 words, detail why you are seeking this degree, how you expect to apply your degree to your professional career after graduation and why you seek to pursue your degree through the University of Bridgeport

Deadlines

Completed application and all supporting documents must be received by:

  • July 15 for the Fall semester
