Dr.
Eves is an associate professor of Philosophy. He
teaches General Philosophy, Women-Men Issues, Logic, Ethics, History of
Western Philosophy, Animal Rights, and topics in philosophy courses such
as Peace and War. He also teaches First Year Seminar and Capstone
Senior Seminar, as well as several courses cross-listed with another
discipline. Among these latter are Existential Literature (Philosophy
and English), Utopian Literature (Philosophy and English), and Classics
in Political Theory (Philosophy and Political Science).
Professor Eves received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the
University of Connecticut. He has published in the areas of feminist
philosophy and animal rights.
