Who We Are
The University of Bridgeport Educational Talent Search program currently serves 800 students in the Bridgeport school system. The objective of this program is to help encourage qualified students to continue their education beyond high school. The major goals of the program are to help program participants explore their college and career opportunities and actually enter a form of post secondary education appropriate for them. All Activities and services are free of charge.
Requirements
Students must be between the ages of 11-27 and attend one of the schools listed below or be a high school or college dropout. There is limited space in the program and students who are low income and first generation college bound students are given preferential treatment for admission to the program.

Bassick, Central, Harding, University School, Blackham, Cesar Batalla, Curiale, Dunbar, High Horizons, Hooker, Longfellow, Marin, Multi-Cultural, Park City, Read, Tisdale and Winthrop
When do we Meet
We work with students at their individual schools during the school year during the school day.
Services Offered
Activities include tutoring, SAT prep, SAT, ACT and college fee waivers, financial aid workshops, parent workshops, career speakers, college searches, college visits, cultural and business field trips, academic advising, counseling, life skills, study skills workshops, and interest inventories.
