The mission of the Colin "Ben" Gunn Academic Resource Center at the University of Bridgeport is to support undergraduate classroom instruction and provide academic assistance to our undergraduate students through tutoring, workshops, and study groups.
We Help You Help Yourself
The Academic Resource Center assists full-time and part-time undergraduate students who need and want support with their courses. There is no fee for using the center. Professional and peer tutors are available for both individual and group sessions. In addition, we have 20 computers for students to work on course assignments during tutoring sessions. We do take walk-ins if a tutor is available. Appointments can be made by calling us or stopping by the center. We are located on the 5th floor of the library building. Please contact us if you have any questions.
eTutoring is another free service offered by the University of Bridgeport to undergraduate students. Students must log in on the eTutoring website to receive tutoring services. Online tutors work for various colleges and universities in the Northeast. As participants in eTutoring, students have access to the following: Online Writing Lab, Live Tutoring, and Offline Questions. Stop by the Academic Resource Center if you need help with using eTutoring. The center is on the 5th floor of the library building.
