The University of Bridgeport Fones School of Dental Hygiene will undergo a comprehensive evaluation October 17-18, 2013, by a team representing the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
The Commission on Dental Accreditation serves the public by establishing, maintaining, and applying standards that ensure the quality and continuous improvement of dental and dental-related education and reflect the evolving practice of dentistry. The scope of the Commission on Dental Accreditation encompasses dental, advanced dental and dental education programs.
Third party comments relative to the Commission’s accredited programs may include comments submitted by interested parties such as faculty, students, program administrators, Commission consultants, specialty and dental related organizations, patients, and/or consumers. All comments relative to programs being visited will be due in the Commission office no later than 60 days prior to the program’s site visit.

Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution.
Written, signed comments must be received by August 17, 2013. The Commission cannot guarantee that comments received after that due date will be considered. Comments should include the name, address, and telephone number of the person providing the comments. Signatures will be removed from comments prior to forwarding them to the program.
