The University of Bridgeport’s College of Public and International Affairs is a diverse learning community of faculty and students who share a commitment to intercultural communication and understanding through the study of world politics, communications, religion, culture, and the social sciences. The College of Public and International Affairs offers six distinct undergraduate Bachelor of Arts programs as well as three globally-focused master's programs.

The Journal of Global Development and Peace is a peer-reviewed annual publication of the College of Public and International Affairs at the University of Bridgeport. The Journal has a special interest in publishing articles that address challenges to regional economic development, innovative approaches and tools for regional development, conflict analysis and resolution, and issues related to regional security.
