Dr. Cantito came to the University after practicing for 13 years in private practice at “Cantito Family Chiropractic” in Middlebury, Connecticut. Previous to his chiropractic career, Dr. Cantito was as a paramedic, and a firefighter for the City of Waterbury, Conn. He was also an Assistant Athletic Trainer at The Taft School in Watertown, Conn. and Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
Dr. Cantito continues to practice chiropractic and acupuncture, part-time, in Middlebury where he resides with his wife Maria, a registered nurse, and his two children.
Dr. Cantito has served on numerous committees at UBCC, including Quality Assurance, Admissions, and others. He has volunteered for the past several years for Paul Newman’s Hole In the Wall Gang Camp, assisting with bringing a contingent of chiropractic interns to treat the participants of the “Angel Ride” fund raiser.
