Laiali Almazayedh
Ph.D candidate in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Laiali Almazaydeh is a Ph.D. candidate of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bridgeport. She received a B.S. in Computer Science from Al Hussein Bin Talal University and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from The Arab Academy for Banking and Financial in 2003 and 2007, respectively. She worked as an instructor at Al Hussein Bin Talal University (2004 - 2008). She has awarded scholarship from Jordan for current PhD study. In February 2011, Almazaydeh was invited to the United Nations in Manhattan to lead panels aimed at attracting more women into the field of science and technology. And the American Association of University Women asked her talk about the status of women and girls rights globally, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. Recently Laiali has been awarded financial scholarship from Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international honors society for computing and information sciences, she was selected based on her superlative academic record, extracurricular activities, and recommendations from academic advisers. Laiali has published few journal and conference papers, her current research interests are in wireless sensor networks and Human Computer Interaction. Ibrahim Alkore
Ph.D candidate in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Ibrahim M Alkore Alshalabi received the B.Sc. in Computer Science from Al-Isra Private University, Amman ON, Jordan in 1997, and the MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from Bangalore University - India in 2007. In 2009 he joined University of Bridgeport as Ph.D. student in computer science and engineering at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut-USA.
From 1997 to 2004, he was Assistant Lecturer in Ma'an Community College - Al-Balqa Applied University-Jordan. From 2007 to 2009 he joined Al-Hussein Bin Talal University-Jordan as assistant lecturer. Sumaya Abusaleh
Ph.D candidate in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Sumaya Abusaleh is a full-time Ph.D. student of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bridgeport. She received her M.S. in Computer Science from Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies/ Jordan in 2007, the B.S in Computer Science from Mu’tah University/ Jordan in 2003, and the Diploma Degree in Programming from Al-Balqa Applied University- Ma’an College/ Jordan in 2000. From 2005-2008, she worked as a full time lecturer at the department of Information Technology in Al-Balqa’ Applied University - Ma’an College. From 2003-2005, she worked as a system administrator at the same university. Sumaya Abusaleh now doing her Ph.D. thesis in the field of Multimedia Systems and she is a member of WMC Lab.
Andriy Shpylchyn
Ph.D candidate in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Andriy Shpylchyn is currently PhD student of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bridgeport. He received his M.S. in Computer Science and Information Technology from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT in December of 2006. His current research focuses on encryption algorithms for mobile devices, communications in VANETs and application of Game Theory algorithms to communication between mobile devices.
Abdul Razaque
Ph.D student in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Abdul Razaque is Ph.D. student of computer science and Engineering department in University of Bridgeport. His current research interests include the design and development of learning environment to support the learning about heterogamous domain, collaborative discovery learning and the development of mobile applications to support mobile collaborative learning (MCL), The congestion mechanism of transmission of control protocol including various existing variants, delivery of multimedia applications. He has published over 30 research contributions in refereed conferences, international journals and books. He has also presented his work more than 10 countries. During the last two years he has been working as a program committee member in IEEE, IET, ICCAIE, ICOS, ISIEA and Mosharka International conference. Abdul Razaque is member of the IEEE, ACM and Springer Abdul Razaque served as Assistant Professor at federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad. He completed his Bachelor and Master degree in computer science from university of Sindh in 2002. He obtained another Master degree with specialization of multimedia and communication (MC) from Mohammed Ali Jinnah University, Pakistan in 2008. Abdul Razaque has been directly involved in design and development of mobile applications to support learning environments to meet pedagogical needs of schools, colleges, universities and various organizations. Eugene Gerety
Ph.D student in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Mr. Gerety received BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Bridgeport in 1981 and 1984, respectively, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Bridgeport. He is presently employed as a Senior Staff Systems Engineer at Philips/Respironics in Wallingford, CT, and has previously held positions as Vice President of Research and Development for Datastrip, Inc., Chief Principal Engineer at CooperSurgical, Inc., Manager of Hardware Engineering at Paragon Networks, and senior engineering positions with Pitney Bowes and ITT Corp. Wafa Elmannai
Ph.D candidate in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Mrs. Wafa Elmannai is a Master student in the School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Bridgeport. She has finished her Bachelor’s degree in Fall2005 at Ben Ashore College for Computer Science. She graduated with highest honors, ranking 4th in her Bachelor degree and awarded merit certificate. Mrs. Elmannai worked as a Research Assistant at University of Bridgeport since 2010-2011. She worked in management department as assistant administrator in education department since 2005-2009. She worked also as teacher in Algamaheria School since 2004-2005. Mrs. Elmannai is interested in network area, mobile communication, and some software applications. She has published several papers in international conferences. She mad presentation of her research in conferences.
Fadel Hussen
Ph.D student in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Mr. Hussen has received his M.S in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Bridgeport on May 2012. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bridgeport. He received his High Diploma in Computer Science from The Higher Professional Center for Comprehensive Professions (HPCCP), Ghadamis City, Libya in May 2002. He worked as a teacher in high school for more than five years from 2002 to 2008. Also he worked as a teacher assistant at (HPCCP) one of the best high institutes in Libya. Fadel has published one journal and few conference papers. His research interest is in wireless sensor networks.

Tariq Abuzegleh
M.S. student in Computer Science & Engineering Department
Tariq Abuzaghleh had his first degree in Electrical Engineering in 2008 from university of Jordan. He worked as Broadcast Engineer for three years in one of the biggest Telemedia Groups in Middle East. He had professional training as Automation Engineer in Aramco Oil and Gas Company in summer 2007.
Tariq Abuzaghleh doing now his Master Degree in Electrical Engineering in University of Bridgeport with interest in wireless communication. His research area of interest is in Broadband wireless communication including 4G LTE and WiMax.
He has taken courses about computer networking and video coding. He is member in IEEE since 2004. He is doing now a research about video streaming over LTE wireless network including its features and available capacity, to give an overview for video streaming capacity over LTE network.
