Research activities at the AML include:

• In silico screening and down-selection of large chemical and pharmaceutical databases
  • Parameter definition and design framework
  • Development of bio-algorithms, etc.
  • Parallel and distributed computation
• Selecion of candidates from substance libraries
• In vitro testing of promising candidates
  • Re-design of bio-algorithms
  • Identification of new parameters and requirements

Lab-testing activities at the AML encompass:

• Microbiology: Determination of minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of best candidates
• Cytotoxicity assessment
