Biography
Dr. Junling (Joyce) Hu received her B.E. and M.E. in Thermal Engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Her research has been focused on studying the transport phenomena (transport of heat, mass and momentum) in a wide range of applications, including materials processing and manufacturing, fuel cell design, thermal management of electronics, and vehicle aerodynamics.
Her work has been published in prestigious journals and conferences. She is the Director of the Applied Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory at UB.
