The Division of Graduate Studies and Research provides leadership, guidance, and management for graduate programming and sponsored research at the University of Bridgeport. The Division serves as a liaison for graduate faculty, staff, and students with external agencies and organizations as well as UB departments. Support is provided to facilitate grant writing and management of grant awards in order to advance research activities at the University. Further, the Division provides faculty with seed money to encourage early-stage research coupled with efforts to secure federal, state and other grants. Finally, the Division is responsible for the management of graduate student assistantships and scholarships.
