Health Sciences Programs
The University's professionally accredited health sciences programs are housed in the Fones School of Dental Hygiene, the College of Chiropractic, the College of Naturopathic Medicine, the Acupuncture Institute, Nutrition Institute, and the Physician Assistant Institute. Several offer clinics and resources to the public.
The New Center for Naturopathic Medicine Clinic
The development of the new state-of-the-art Center for Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport represents a commitment by the University to the delivery of affordable and high-quality holistic healthcare for Greater Bridgeport Area residents and underserved populations throughout the region.

The University of Bridgeport, Division of Health Sciences is also pleased to announce its new Master of Science- Physician Assistant program, which is has received Provisional Accreditation by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
The degree programs, which range from associate and baccalaureate programs in Dental Hygiene to doctoral programs in Chiropractic (D.C.) and Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.), offer state-of-the-art curricula and significant clinical experiences.
The members of the faculty include skilled instructors with backgrounds in the biomedical and clinical sciences. The graduates of these programs go on to serve by providing health care, becoming educators, and participating in medical research.
Partnership with St. Vincent's Medical Center
In January, the Division of Health Sciences forged a new partnership with St. Vincent's Medical Center to deliver programs that will enhance training, understanding, and collaboration among future health providers.
Fourth-year student interns from the College of Naturopathic Medicine and College of Chiropractic are joining physicians, residents, and medical students from St. Vincent's on observation rotations and case presentations during daily grand rounds. At the same time, participation with interns from the Colleges of Naturopathic Medicine and Chiropractic allows St. Vincent's physicians and residents to gain better understanding and appreciation of complementary and integrative medicine.
St. Vincent's Medical Center also serves as the primary clinical training site for the Physician Assistant program.
