Minimum Requirements for Application
All candidates for admission to the naturopathic medical degree program must furnish proof of having acquired a baccalaureate degree, taken in an accredited, degree-granting institution. Successful applicants are expected to have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or greater. This applies to both the overall GPA and the science based prerequisites. Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 may be considered for admission on an individual basis with special attention given to recent performance in science based prerequisite courses.
All candidates must have completed the following specific courses as part of their professional preparation:

A personal interview is required.
All biology or zoology or anatomy and physiology, chemistry and physics courses must:
* Be course suitable for students majoring in sciences; * Consist of a first semester and second semester course in each subject; * Be passed with a grade of “C” (2.00 on 4.00 scale) or better; * Cumulative science grade point average must be 3.0 or better; * Have a related laboratory; * Have been taken within the past seven years.
Applicants must understand that possession of minimum entrance requirements does not constitute a guarantee of acceptance.
In addition to minimum entrance requirements the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine strongly recommends that prospective students look to take the following course work as well:
