The Online Doctoral Program in Education Leadership (Ed.D.) at the University of Bridgeport is a distinct program that offers an expedited and convenient way of pursuing an Ed.D. degree with a specialization in International Education.
The program is designed to enhance the effectiveness and enlarge the perspective of public and private organization leaders, policy makers, and researchers. The advanced graduate curriculum integrates the sound principles of administration, management, organizational psychology, law, program evaluation, international education, and research methodologies. The successful completion of the program leads to the Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.).
Career and Professional Growth
UB’s online Ed.D. program will provide graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel as leaders in an institution or agency involved in dealing with educational issues, policy makers in the educational field, or scholars involved in research and teaching.
Our program is designed for candidates who would like to further deepen their knowledge and abilities to infuse cross-cultural, global issues into organizations and classrooms. Topics and methods relevant to international education are embedded into the program’s courses and activities. Thus, the International Education specialization will ensure that our graduates are prepared to integrate cross-cultural perspectives into curricula, policy, and instruction.
The program has been designed with your busy schedule in mind. The asynchronous class format allows you to study at a time that is convenient for you. All you need is a computer, access to the internet and email. You’ll learn by engaging in online learning activities and projects and by collaborating with both faculty and classmates throughout the entire program.
