What is the cost of the University of Bridgeport MS-Acupuncture degree program?
Tuition for the Master of Science in Acupuncture program is currently $520 per credit or approximately $18,700 per year. Total tuition for the program is approximately $58,000. $550 per credit, $19,500 per year, including fees. Total tuition for the program is approximately $60,000.
Do you accept part time students?
Yes. Students may take up to five years to complete the MS-Acupuncture program. The Assistant Director can help you design a part time schedule that meets your needs.
Do you have any clinical rotations off-campus?
Yes. You may complete a part of your training at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, N.Y., at a convent in Wilton, Conn., and in several private practitioners’ offices across Connecticut.
When are classes held?
The acupuncture-specific courses are held Monday and Wednesday evenings and seven weekends each semester (14 weekends per year). Biomedical classes are held in conjunction with the naturopathic or chiropractic students and are held during the day.
Do you accept transfer credit?
Students may apply to have some of the training required by the Acupuncture Institute for graduation transferred from another acupuncture degree-granting program, or accredited school of post-graduate medical training. Transfer credit will be assessed by the institute director and is only awarded for courses similar in content and length, and with instructors similarly qualified as those given by the Acupuncture Institute.
