Biography
Marie received her AS from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene in1992 and completed her Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010, also at the University of Bridgeport. She began teaching at Fones as an adjunct clinical faculty member in 2005 and recently joined full-time faculty as a clinical assistant professor. Her responsibilities include teaching in second year clinic, the online degree completion program, an outside clinical rotation, and serving as a thesis advisor.
Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, where she has served as component trustee and the Connecticut Dental Hygienists’ Association, where she has served as the Student Liaison and is currently a Conn HYPAC director. Additionally, Marie is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha, the national honor society of the dental hygiene association. She has presented various continuing education courses and has been published in the Journal of Dental Hygiene and Access Magazine.
