We have contracted with MBS Direct, one of the largest mail order textbook vendors in the country, who served over 500,000 students nationwide last year with an inventory of over 5 million volumes. MBS is a sister company of Barnes and Noble so you can be assured the same low prices and fast delivery.

• MBS Direct maintains a current list of our courses and the books/materials required for those classes
• Access our virtual bookstore online at: http://direct.mbsbooks.com/bridgeport.htm or call MBS Direct at 800-325-3252.
• Tell them you're from UB, indicate which campus/program you attend, and give them your course number (with section number/letter)
• Order forms are available in the bookstore for those who wish to fax or mail in orders.
• You may pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. (Personal checks are accepted for mail orders only.)
• Orders will be shipped within 24 hours. If you live off-campus, your books can be delivered directly to your home, or you can have them delivered to our central shipping area (the bookstore) for an easy pick-up. All orders for students who live on campus will be shipped to the bookstore.

That's it--that's all there is to it! In addition to the convenience, here are other benefits MBS Direct provides:

USED BOOKS: While you may purchase new books, the MBS textbook buyers make every effort to maximize the number of used books available, providing you with a 25% savings.

DELIVERY: Textbooks are delivered via UPS by one of three methods: Ground, Second Day Air, or Next Day Air. If you live on the Main Campus, your books will be delivered to our central delivery station- the bookstore. If you live off-campus, your books can go directly to your home. (Average cost per order $5.75)

TEXTBOOK BUYBACK: An online Web site is provided for students wishing to sell their books back upon completion of a course http://direct.mbsbooks.com/bridgeport.htm. Two weeks prior to the end of class, you will receive a letter or email (if your books have a resale value) listing the price MBS Direct will pay for your textbooks. A prepaid shipping label will be included for your convenience in sending the books back for resale. MBS will send a check directly to you for the value of any books they purchase from you in buyback.
