Who is eligible to register online?
All
students should check with their Academic Advisor prior to registering to
ensure you are registering for the appropriate courses. To register online you must be
admitted into one of the following programs:
What is the first step?
All
students must have a UBNET account to login to Webadvisor
and register online (see below). After
you complete your registration, click here for Online Course Instructions to learn how online courses
work.
How do I set up my
UBNET account?
In order to register online, you will need to have
your UBNET username and password. Keep
in mind that your UBNET account (yourname@bridgeport.edu)
is separate from your Blackboard account (ub_yourname).
What other services can I access
with my UBNET account?
NOTE: You
cannot access these other services (UB email, library, etc) until 24 hours
after you register.
You can also
use your UBNET account to check your UB email, access UB’s
online library, and view your grades:
NOTE: To have messages forwarded from your UB email to your
personal email, login to your UB email then click on “forwards” on the top,
select “Set/install a forward to” (it should be selected by default) then type
in your chosen email address.

A. Getting Started

Please read these
instructions and follow carefully while registering
·
NOTE:
Students must wait 24 hours after setting up a new UBNET account
B. Login
·
Visit
http://www.bridgeport.edu/webadvisor
and click on “Login” on the top
·
Enter
your UBNET ID and password, then click “Submit”
·
You Must Click On Login
And Enter Your Username & Password In Order To Register!
·
Click
on “Students” on right
·
Click
on “Register for Sections” under Registration
·
Then
click on “Search and register for sections”
C. Select Your
Classes
1. Select the appropriate term
NOTE: Do not select any specialized
term such as Health Sciences
2. DO NOT
enter course start or end dates.
3. Select the course subject (DHYG,
NUTR, PHIL, etc)
4. DO NOT
select the course level
5. Enter the course # (101, 301, 560A,
etc)
NOTE: Do not enter any spaces, and
include letters (for example, enter 560A, not 560 A or 560-A)
6. DO NOT
enter the section number
7. Go to the bottom of the page and
click “Submit” (DO NOT enter any other information)
D. Register
·
Select
your course(s) from the list by clicking on the box on the left under Select,
then click “Submit“
·
NOTE: If more than one section of a course is offered,
please register for the first available section
·
Select
an action for each course on the list (Register), then click “Submit“ then “OK”
E. What Happens After You Register?
·
Students
will NOT receive written confirmation of registration. To confirm your registration, refer to “How
do I confirm my registration” below.
·
Students
will NOT receive a bill and MUST pay in full prior to the course start
date. To pay, refer to “How do I pay for
classes” below.

What if I have trouble registering?
1. Re-read
“How do I register for classes”
above and follow the instructions carefully.
2. If
you cannot login to Webadvisor, then click
here to reset your password. If you still cannot login, email sysadmin@bridgeport.edu for further assistance.
3. If
you can login to Webadvisor, but cannot register, you should contact
the registrar’s office and your academic advisor for assistance:

How do I confirm my
registration?
1. Click
on “Student Menu” on top after registering
2. Click
on “My Class Schedule” on bottom right (under “Academic Profile”)
3. Select
a term and click “Submit”
4. The
courses you have successfully registered for will be listed
How do I pay for
classes?
Students are required to pay in full PRIOR to the first
day of class and will NOT receive a bill before the course starts.
To pay online:
1. Click
on “Student Menu” on top right after registering
2. Click
on “Make a payment” under Financial Information
3. Enter
payment amount and credit card information, and click “Submit”
To pay by phone:
Call
the Cashier’s office at 203-576-4682.
To pay by check or money order:
Please
record your UB Student I.D. # or Social Security # on the payment and mail to:

To pay by Financial Aid:
Financial aid money is automatically applied to a student’s
account, although it may not appear on the account screen immediately after
registering.
To confirm your financial aid
amount, or for other financial aid questions, please call 203-576-4568 or email
finaid@bridgeport.edu.
To view
your account balance:
1. Click on “Menu” on
top right after registering
2. Click on “Student
Menu” on left
3. Click on “Account
summary by term”
4. Select the
appropriate term
