Accepted Students’ Day
On March 24, join us on campus for Accepted Students’ Day to experience what it’s like to be a UB student.
At the University of Bridgeport, our innovative, forward-thinking academic programs are dedicated to producing students equipped with the necessary skills to succeed.
UB recognizes that tangible professional skills are more important than ever in today’s job market and have since developed cutting-edge hybrid degree programs to help our students be more marketable than ever.
In the stands or on the field, you can get in the game with UB athletics. With five men’s varsity teams and eight women’s varsity teams, and a variety of co-ed intramurals, there’s something for everyone to get involved in.
Our varsity athletes compete at the Division II level and have all contributed to an exciting athletic atmosphere here at UB.

Our centrally located, 50-acre campus set along the scenic Long Island Sound provides a beautiful setting to accompany our outstanding academic programs.
UB is conveniently located just one hour away from New York City, and only three hours from Boston, providing students with endless opportunities to engage with culture, learning, and entertainment.
The University of Bridgeport has an institutional commitment to making a private education affordable for all students- that’s why we offer a variety of financial aid programs, grants, loans, and scholarships.
We pride ourselves on the fact that 98% of first-time, full-time undergraduate students and 96% of all UB students are awarded some form of financial aid to assist them in their pursuit of a private education. See our Cost & Financial Aid page for more information on how to apply for grants, scholarships, and government aid.
The University of Bridgeport prides itself on having an engaged, successful, diverse alumni network- that stay involved with making sure UB continues to thrive. We offer several alumni communities, events, and volunteer opportunities that keep UB alumni connected long after graduation. We also offer an annual Alumni Association Scholarship that honors a student’s character and contributions to the UB community.
